Strange Happenings

HI there,

I am having issues with Yahoo Messenger. It is spitting out porn links to whomever I am chatting with. The links appear to the other user as if I had sent them. This happens no matter which email account name is being used.

I have Windows XP, Home edition. So far, I have scanned with SpyBot, AdAware, EScan and AVG. Everything comes up clean. I have gone into my CP and did the Yahoo repair, and after finding no relief, I went and uninstalled then reinstalled Yahoo Messenger. I have done a port check on-line, and all my ports but one are in stealth mode. The one that is open is 5000.

I did the trendmicro online scan and downloaded and installed the Yahoo Bitdefender thing...still no relief.

If anyone has any more suggestions, I am certainly open to try them.
