Strange Icon on Desktop & homepage changed

I let someone use my computer just to browse Burlington Coat factory Website. When they were finished and I came to the computer, there was a strange icon on my desktop. I clicked on it and it was a link to a product on Burlington's site. Also, my home page was changed to something strange. Anybody know how this happened?

My computer is clean from spyware it has been cleaned with Adaware and Spybot.

I have Install on demand turned off. In my internet option, I have all install ActiveX options turned to "disable"..

Your browser might have been hijacked. But with the precautions you've got, it doesn't seem likely. You could try downloading HijackThis! and running the scan.

If you change your homepage, does it change back to the coat factory? What if you reboot?

As far as the link, what exactly does it point to? Is it a shortcut, or a program? Right-click it and choose Properties, and look at the "Target" if it's a shortcut. Is it a web address or local? Can you move or delete the icon?

 

I changed my homepage back to what I want, and it hasn't changed back. I haven't rebooted so I'm not sure about that.. I don't reboot unless necessary, i am adament about that. I reboot once a month. The link on my desktop was definetly just a shortcut. It was a link to a item that Burlington sells. However, it had a unique icon on my desktop.
