If anybody can help with this it would be very much appreciated, because I'm clueless so as to how to resolve this...

A month ago I installed a program for my GPRS connection while not home. Worked fine, but when I reconnected using ADSL my Internet Explorer has been acting weird.

When I'm connected using my ADSL line, whenever I mistype an http address, instead of giving me an error page in explorer it tries to connect... using my GPRS card. In other words, it doesn't recognize the existing connection.

So, basically, every time I try to access a website that doesn't exist or it takes more than three seconds to find, Explorer has to go offline. It's slightly annoying at first, really frustrating as time goes on.

Thanks for your help on this one...

    Greetings and welcome to MajorGeeks!

Had to do a google search on what GPRS was. :) (General Packet Radio Service)

Disable your GPRS, and try accessing your dsl connection. Or disconnect the GPRS altogether, and see if that resolves your issue.

I went so far as to remove the GPRS card and uninstall everything related to the GPRS. Still the same problem. But I won't dare go into the registry on my own, I don't want to mess anything up...
