Strange message

I wiped my pc clean lastnight because it was being a pain in the a** and now im getting these stange messages abit like a pop up but even when im not on the internet? It says
Messenger service: message form system to user on 16:03:2005
Warning: your computer may have critical errors in registry and file system
These errors can lead to crashes,slowness and full system failure
Immediate repair may be required

So i get one of these about every 10 minutes and iv scanned my pc with all the anti virus stuff iv got and they havent found anything? anyone had this problem or heard of it? any ideas?

 

What OS?

If its XP, get SP2.

Or, disable the messenger service from start, run, services.msc.

 

Did you do a complete format or quick format? With a quick format I believe some files will remain on the drive and possibly reinfect. this could cause problems if you install SP2.
