Strange noises around my CPU

Hello all, I just recently put together my newest PC. When I brought it up, everything seemed fine, then a couple seconds l8r there were high-pitched squeals coming from inside the case. I moved the mouse to shut it down, and I then noticed a buzzing noise coming from in the case when the mouse moved. No speakers were hooked up yet, and no internal speaker either. It sounds like its coming from the CPU area. Any ideas what could be causing this before I start sending parts back?? Please help!!!

Pent. D 3.0 DC-CPU
600w PSU
Verto 8500gt SLI-Graphx card
Samsung 200gb HDD

 

make sure the fan on the cpu spins freely.the way the wires are wrapped around the heatsink they will hit the fan most of the time

 

and also clean up every thing around it is clean all the wires and such ar out of the way

 

I thought of that too, the box was very tidy. I have zip-tied wires out of the way of fans, and hot parts. If there were fans hitting wires that would make noises, but not these noises. The most mysterious noise is the buzzing produced by the mouse moving. More specifically the mouse pointer moving on the screen. I was thinking the Vid card, or perhaps something faulty in the MB. What do you think?

 

just try a comp. report error program and see if any problems in ur comp is wrong or fualty or if u recently installed any new hardware and then try and fix it but if not just make sure everything is runnig right i dont know about anything else maybe some one esle can help u but ive never had the problem sorry

 

Try extracting fan, sink and CPU and reseating them. If any of them aren't tight, the whole thing starts making that horrid screeching.
