    Hello Everyone!!!

Guys I am facing a very strange problem in our LAN. There is a Wire Providing connecting between two switches.

Problem is that it works fine when first time i connect wire on both end but after two or three days there was no signal of data transfer and there was no connectivity between the computers. I put the plug in different slots but still problem was same.
Then i cut from one end and put another connector onthe cable. After that again it worked fine for 2-9 days. Then again it stopped. Again i did same thing as i did before.

So every time i m doing this. Can u guys please suggest me what should i do to get rid of this problem?

    Thanks

well, I think the basic solver for anything that "works for a while" then goes buggy for no apparent reason, is to shut it off for an amount of time. with computers, anything over an hour is good. with switches and routers, 1 minute would be excellent. just unplug the things, and plug them back in after 1 min.
I used to hate this piece of advice, but that was in a different scenario, it works fine now, and every time I do it, my router works for several times longer than before. It's been a month or so since I last had to fix my internet.
