Strange problem - Please take a look

    Hi guys.
    I've recently started having a problem with my rig. Whenever i try to play a game, for example, UT2004 or even AVP2, the system works fine for a while, but then it begins to pause at no particular moment, and then restart after about a second. This is getting to be really annoying, as it continues to happen at 2 min intervals. I've updated the video card drivers, DirectX 9.0b, run Adaware, Spy-bot, and Norton with the latest updates, and cleaned everything up. I've also defraged the hard drive, and i'm all out of ideas. This problem has only began recently, and has never surfaced before. Please take a look at this Hijackthis log. Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Got some questions. First off, your Hijack This is out of date, DirectX at 9.0c so I wonder if your sure you really got the latest drivers because what your calling latest, is not. Do you have the latest motherboard drivers? You did not give your system specs, if your using XP, you can tweak your services, disable indexing, etc. Your running SP1, get Service Pack 2, make sure your updates are current.

    Disable indexing, open Windows Explorer, click your c drive, choose properties and disable indexing, apply to all and wait, ignore all if errors pop up.

    I would also make sure the fan on your Video card is working properly.
