    Hi,

First of all, don't mention my english (it aint bad but im Dutch :D) Anywayz,

    My system :

    Asus A7A266 Motherboard
    1x 256MB PC2700 Kingston
1x 256MB PC2100 Can't find out which brand it is.
    ATI Radeon 9550
    Windows 2000 SP4

I came downstairs like 1.5 week ago and my screen was blue, so I restarted the pc, and it was whining about the hive file blablabla, so I ran it in safe mode with networking and googled a bit, tried to put some files from the repair folder back in to the config folder, wouldn't work. then like 2 days later i turned on the pc, and the chkdsk auto ran, and was deleting indexing etc etc. Then the pc worked again, desktop was reset and quick launch etc etc, BUT it started, as I love to play wow, and I just bought another month , i wanted to play, but suddenly I started getting crashes (physical dumps, and just wow crashing followed by wowerror.exe opening up and displaying error #132) which is common to be a memory error, so I ran windiag and memtest 86 v3.2, took out all modules exept 1, tested it with both programs (loads of errors) put the module in another slot, ran both tests again and it was the same, i did the same with my other memory module, and ANOTHER 256mb module i still had (only have 2 ddr slots >.<) but all 3 seemed to be broken according to windiag and memtest 86 (put all 3 of them seperately in both ddr slots) so, today i went to my friend's house and put all 3 of em, seperately in 1 of his ddr slots and ran both tests again, and none of the 3 modules gave an error in neither 1 of the tests. SO my question is, is it possible that my processor is broken? because the processor also has to do something while running the tests, right? OR is it my motherboard? and how can I test which 1 of them is broken? (I dont really like the idea of taking out my processor and putting in another processor...) the system does recognize 512mb and still works, but when playing wow, wow crashes, or i get a physical dump, and since today also, msnmsgr.exe, explorer.exe, mirc.exe, rtvscan.exe etc etc "has generated errors and will be closed by windows" <-- could that be related to my memory (which is fine according to the tests @ my friend's PC) I already used killdisk to format and i reinstalled windows, nothing... i took away 1 side of my case, and put a normal fan in front of it, speedfan says my cpu is 50-52 degrees Celsius and my HDD being around 30, Temp1 (which is my motherboard) is 32 degrees (aida and bios show the same temperatures)

    Thanks in advance,

    Greetz,
