Strange Sound Problems

Seemingly randomly I've come upon a strange sound problem with my computer. Mid day today I noticed all the sound was hollow, distorted, and just not right. I've not been able to find a website that provides advance ac97 audio drivers, however I don't believe the drivers are the problem. Every sound my computer makes is distorted and I've never had to deal with any audio problems before. I've searched through the audio settings on the computer but nothing seems to help with this. Anyone have any suggestions?

 

Try different speakers, or try headphones. Just to make sure it's a problem with the computer.
