strange!

hi there,
actually i have just bought counter strike:zero condition.the agp card's memory required is 16mb and i have just 8mb.i was about to buy a new card when i thought of trying it on my school pc and it started running.the strange thing was that my school pc's agp card's memory was just 6mb. how is it possible?

 

A lot of times, program requirements are loosely based. The only time they for sure won't work is when a hard block has been coded into the application-- a check that says if you don't meet such and such requirements, it won't run.

A good example is Windows XP.

Requirements are 64mb of ram.

I've seen it installed on 56mb --8 mb reserved for video, but XP doesn't know that.

 

so what should i do?how should i run it on my home pcs!

 

Well, I dont see that you actually tried it on your home PC

 

no sir, it doesnt work in the safe mode.i have already tried it!now what should i do. i am so crazy about that game that i am going mad and cannot control my anxiety.please help me as quickly as possible

by the way is there any software through which i can make the game see that all the conditions are fulfilled and it should run.
