streaming video to 360 without WMC?

Howdy fellas, im curious, id love to stream some video to my xbox360 through windows media connect but i dont really want to change to windows media center. is there any programs out there that will do the trick? and while im askin whats the differences between WMC and XP, i just learned xp am i going to get all confused with WMC?

Windows Media Center is basically Windows XP with some extra media stuff.

 

really? so nothing will change, all my folders and everything ive done will basically remain the same? my greatest fear is everything will disappear and move around, im like Garth, i fear change. i basically learned everything i know about computers in the past 2 years on xp

 

No. However, I'm not sure if you can upgrade from Windows XP (Home/Pro) to Windows MCE. You may very well be able to, but I can't say for sure one way or the other.

Worst case scenario, you can use the files and settings wizard to copy all your stuff to a certain location, then install MCE then restore all your files.

I thought WMC stood for Windows Media Connect? It doesn't require Media Center.

media connect wont let you view videos on your 360, only music and images unless you have media center
