stuck file

I have a problem with a file on my computer, its the file for the fm demo, downloaded from official sources and is virus free. It makes my explorer stop responding. It cant even load the icon for the file. THis is stoping me getting into the file it is stored in, as soon as I even open the directory it freezes and thats that.

Is there something that I can do/download to remove this file? I have vista on here btw.

Run it.Go to:Config>Misc tools>Delete file on reboot,mark the file and reboot.Good Luck!!!

 

nah, no luck, it makes that freeze too

 

Is there a certain program that's making your computer freeze? And if so, have you tried removing it using Ad/Remove Programs located in your Control Panel? Downloading a Program from an "Official Source" doesn't always mean it's not corrupt or incompatible with your PC or OS. Just a thought. Keep us posted. Shanrene P.S. Start your PC in "Safe Mode" & see if it still freezes. Also try clicking on "Start", then "Run", type in msconfig, & hit enter. Check the box labeled "Selective Start-Up", then click on the "Start-Up" tab, then click on "Disable All". See if your PC still freezed upon rebooting. You will have to go back in later to msconfig & re-check your Anti-Virus & Firewall Programs. Good Luck!
