I'm helping a friend fix her copmuter. The problem is that Windows Corporate was installed over Vista and now I'm trying to fix it. I don't have the original install/boot disk. I just have a copied version of a full install & recovery disk downloaded off the internet. I'm up to the point where it starts up and able to get into bios but it doesn't want to boot from the recovery boot disk that I burned.

What make and model is that computer? Does it have a recovery partition? Typically, this would be drive D if you open Computer to look at drives. Try hitting F11 during startup. On many systems, this will start the Recovery partition and allow the user to restore the system to its original configuration.

Thank you for replying to my question. Fortunatly I got lucky, I re-burned a Windows Vista Recovery Disk and got it burned to a disk correctly and was able to get it into safemode and then I was able to go in Task Manager and start the Vista install disk. Thanks Again for replying so quickly.
