Stuck Program

Stuck meaning that it won't uninstall. I was trying to get around having to use AIM 6, and downloaded AIM 5.9 onto my Vista computer. It didn't install correctly or something, because now I want to uninstall it and the uninstall always freezes. Is there a way to fix this, or another way to get rid of the AIM 5.9 (it's a separate program from AIM 6)
