    So I produce music,
so its not like I can go without sound.

Now i know that the sound card isnt broke.
    Well actually I dont,
I just say that to make myself feel better.

But i have a stupid red x over my speaker.
I have a Realtek High Definition Audio installed,
    but every time I try,
"The Device cannot be started (Code 10)"

I couldnt tell you my motherboard,
nor do i know how to figure it out.

    I dont know many specs.

    I just need heelpp.
    PLEASE!

    Other than this,
    I LOVE THE LAPTOP =]]

    Hi

    Try the following

Open Services, found in Control Panel > Administrative Tools and check that the Windows Audio service is Started and Startup Type is set to Automatic

Then to help further we will need more info so the below guide will help and attach the log as mentioned.
