    Hi, all.

I'm having a problem with my laptop.
Basically, we got in a Netgear WGR614 V5 a while ago.
My dad's laptop, my brother's computer are both working fine through WiFi, and my computer is working fine on wired; however, my stupid laptop won't even admit there's any networks in the area.

I took a visit to the Bios and actually notied that WiFi was switched to "disabled". The other option was "Last Status". I thought I'd solved the problem, but now when I boot up... the exact same thing happens!
This laptop won't admit there are any wireless networks.
With my dad's laptop, it was simply a case of it automatically detecting it and then entering the pass code.

I've tried installing SP2, installing the latest WiFi drivers from my laptop maker's website and I've tried turning it on and off in configeration and doing a load of other random things.

    Nope, nothing has done anything.
    This is a Medion MIM2020.
    It's a Pentium M 1500mhz
    512 megs of ram
    Some crappy Intel/onboard sound
I've also checked the Routers setup countless times, but there's nothing which seems to jump out at me.

Actually, my dad's laptop has a switch for WiFi, which switches it on and off. My laptop has no such switch; however, it DOES seem like it's on a perminant 'off' -_-

    Anyone got any ideas?

    Thanks a lot
