stupid question? but really fast

    ok so i upgraded my system to amd 64 from amd athlon xp. does that mean my system is now windows xp 64 bit?

    Yes.

    But you can still use 32 bit if you want. (x86)

    No. It means you are running Windows XP (32 bit) on a 32/64 bit CPU.


    You definately are not running Windows XP 64 bit.

    Yep, you may continue using WinXp 32bit. But now you computer supports the 64 bit OS and you may start using it if you want to.
