stupid question re: firefox spell checking

Don't know what happened to start this but firefox has started to place a wiggly red line under any word IT doesn't deem as being spelt correctly, such as "malware" :-D I didn't install an add on for a spell checker, I do not need one. Can someone tell me how to stop it?

Have you tried right clicking on the word and adding it to your dictionary? malware is one that wasn't considered a word for me, but I just added it.

 

The thing is... when I am trying to do logs, can you imagine the vast array of words and files that firefox is underlining? It is such a disatraction

Now then, I am seeing this:

 

Each time i UNcheck spellcheck it still sets itself as active again,

 

LOL That's one way to get rid of the squiggly lines, Em.

So, you can't right click and just add them? Once you do, they shouldn't come up as being misspelled anymore. Hell, I've even added lol to it. :-D

 

I don't want to be seeing crap like this. I don't wish to add a million words to it's spellchecker database just to stop seeing wiggly red lines, I want a simple option if there is one, to actually disable the damn thing. It isn't needed, I got an A in English :-D

Aha!!!!!!!!!!!! But which segment of the advanced tab is this on? I am not seeing it so far, and I did go all through there trying to find that option before posting :confused
