    hello

for example, i want to access http://www.sonyericsson.com
but i get this message "Warning, your browser does not seem to support javascript! Javascript must be enabled to view this site."
even if i select "allow" in everything you can configure about this website in the zonealarm privacy tab, it still says that it is blocking scripts even after setting allow in everything! WHY!!!!!!!

    goodbye

I may be mistaken, but that message has nothing to do with Zonealarm...
That sounds like security settings in your browser.

    Which browser are you using?

    In IE

goto Tools, Internet Options, and the the Security tab...
    check settings there..

Then look at the Advanced tab, as there are several settings in there regarding what is allowed to be displayed in a browser

    Zone Alarm

It's as if the Zone Alarm is blocking because the gemeral security settings are set too high - try turning them down to medium. Also, double-check the IE settings for java - still seems like that's the problem. I've used ZA for several years, and it seems to only block what I ask it to, unless it's turned up full...

in the past i used zone alarm, and it worked great. Then do to seperate issues i reinstalled win XP all together, and Zone alarm with it, the free one, not pro. and soon after i couldn't get online at all. it was a while back, so i can hardly remember what sort of messages it gave, in talking to my isp,(roadrunner) they told me they have allot of problems with Zone alarm messing with peoples connections. they allso tell me that uninstalling zone alarm may not solve the problem, because zone alarm puts parts of itself in the registry or some such jibba jabba, not really sure, but i am now going through verious firewalls to find one that i like. but that is my take on zone alarm

I use za with out any prob, been using for 3 years+, it only blocks what I tell it to and haven't had any compatibality problems. Used it with 98se, and XP pro.

seems just like any other software, some like it,some don't and sometimes it works on one persons box and not anothers.

    Good luck with your fix,

    Peace
