Style XP?

I wanna customize my laptop more, and i was told about "style xp", and what it can do.

Is it a good program? No issues about it messing up computers, etc?

 

I have used style xp before it's not too bad if you wanna change everything. Boot screen, icons, background, and theme. Also check out windows blinds which is like style xp.

 

i checked this site for style xp, and all i found was style xp men, style xp women, and style xp update. Is there an original version or something?

 

Have a look at crystalXP.net for some really cool shell packs. I am using two of them of different machines and love them. (The vista Inspirat and the Crystal XP one)
Being a shell pack, they don't chew additioanl resources they way styles does.

 

There isn't much of a difference, I used the StyleXP Male install. They all do the same thing really, I think the difference is what it comes prepackaged with. You can go to their site and get more themes, icons, etc;.

I used StyleXP for a while when I use to customize my looks, it does a good job and I didn't see an issue.

 

basically, i just want more than 3 color options (olive, blue, silver). I want a nice crimson or neon red.

I also wanna be able to change the color of the font on the icons.

 

They are called "Themes" and there are thousands over the net you use. StyleXP comes with a few by default but more can be installed from many sites around the web. Google "XP Themes" and find the one your looking for.

Not sure how you can do this however there is a neat little program that can change the color of your folder icons.
