StyleXP (Windows Vista Icons)

Hey everybody,

Just bought StyleXP, and was wondering if anybody knew where I could download a windows vista icon package thats compatible with StyleXP (eg - *.iconset / *.iconzip / *.iptheme / *.ip / *.bit)

I downloaded the vista icons (*.ico) but cant seem to figure out how to apply them via StyleXP...

I managed to download an iconpackage set, common sense led me to install the iconpackage 3.0 trial version, then use the iconpackage set I found and save it as "Vista.ip" (a valid Style XP extension)

Since I'm not gonna buy Iconpackage, I uninstalled it (only a 30day trial) and thought i could use StyleXP to set it... I opened StyleXP and added the new "Vista.ip" set I had previously saved... but when I applied the set, none of the icons changed!!!

Can anybody help me out???

 

You need Icontranslate to use 3rd party icon packages with StyleXP. Get it here: http://www.tgtsoft.com/download.php

This has an iconpackager theme or a patcher to completely replace the default Windows files and the icons they contain.

Tried to find an Aero Glass theme before I posted in MG, no luck... I'll keep an eye out for it though...

 

Tried out YAFVC3 Final Build 1.5 / Aero 5270 v 1.1 and Aero 5203 but they werent that good (not even gonna bother posting a screenshot)...

The Vista Royale one you gave me was 30times better... BTW, if you find an Aero Glass look-a-like theme I'd appreciate it if you could post the link...

Found an XP Vista Glass look-alike Theme at XP Glass Final

Here's the Screenshot:

 

There are only two problems with this theme:
(1) Have to set the active window border to a size 7 manually, everytime I restart
(2) "Click-Hold-Drag" (-ing) windows accross is a guessing game... can almost never get it at the first try...

Guys,If I may butt in here...Ive been using Vista for XP for at least 8 months now..Downloaded from MG.I think its tremendous..Many themes and configs..

Do a search on" Vista" here..There is a post related to it..

No problem Nokia! Do you mean the Vista Transformation Pack? What does it install?
(I already have the most recent vista icons and a couple of themes installed, and dont know if I should bother installing it)

Already searched and there's abouth sixty threads on Vista alone, can you be more specific?
