substitue to Divx to DvD

    yeah, uhmm, i was wondering if there was a program similiar to Divx to Dvd, jsut faster. OR, maybe, there is a way to make taht program faster. it's converting at about 1.5x, i dont know if this is normal or not, but let me know.

    Video encoding is a slow process,the better the processor the faster it gets.1.5x looks normal.What processor do you have?There might be some settings that will sacrifice some quality for speed on the encoder,never used that app,so I cant give specifics.

    i have a pentium 4, 3.0. have 1014 of 3200 ram if that makes a difference. xp, sp2.
