Sudden Errors/Slugish

My new computer is slowly dieing...;--------;.
I have no idea why, that why I'm not sure this is the right forum.

First my computer has errors with non existent user names and profiles.
AVG doesn't work even though I did everything right form this forum.
Then Lenovo System Update stops working.
I call the company, wait an hour and get told it'll take care of itself.
BULL CRAP.
And now the undeniable let down.
God hates me, along with Bill Gates and Microsoft.
Shoot me.

One night ago i started my computer up, it was slow, about 7 minutes into starting up after logging in figured it was done. It normally boots VERY fast.
It was so amazingly slow. Sluggish and lagged like an over populated on line game.
AAAAHHH.
Right clicked menus from icons were forever stuck overlapping everything until i restarted. The task bar is wonky as hell, icons i exited out of stopped disappearing. Big problem there. Thats the one I noticed most. Task manager doesn't show up. Windows Explorer is so slow it looks like its frozen.
And the oddest thing of all was that a video game actually worked =_____+.
About 31 minutes into the on line video game called FLYFF my computer runs out of memory and shut down the program. 1 hour is ago when i stopped playing.
Thats like almost 24 hours right there.

The last things i downloaded and installed was http://www.majorgeeks.com/TweakVI_Basic_Edition_d5262.html
I unistalled that becuase i didnt like it,
and installed some drivers from Lenovo.com.
To rule out the idea of the drivers being an issue, how can i uninstall them?
I restarted about 20 minutes ago. I now have another perminent disk keeper icon next to one just like it until i restart.
Using anything is slow,sluggish and ertic.

I dont think its a virus becuase Avast! has scanned and found nothing.
Right now Im gunna go into safe mode and see if that doesn something for me.

I'm not about to tell my Dad.
Hell be so pissed. And some how find a way to pin this on me and my incompetents. We just bought this in April.

Firstly could you use a bigger font for us old timers who eyesight isn't what it used to be.

If the booting to Safe Mode worked OK you could then try rolling back the drivers you updated. If you right click on My Computer then Properties, next select the hardware tab and click on device manager. Select the item(s) for which you updated the drivers and right click on them and select properties. Select the driver tab and then you will see a button which allows you to roll back the driver.

Ditto on the fonts, you could also try a System Restore in Accessories, System Tools. Pick a restore point from when you believe it was running well and check the ones in between to see what was installed after that restore point, if it doesn't work you can always revert to what you have now.

FWIW, this post has quite a few tips on boosting performance of a computer.

However, for this to be effective, you do need to rule out drivers and malware as an issue. See above for advice on drivers, but to CONCLUSIVELY say it isn't a malware issue, you should follow the instructions in the malware removal thread, as it is FAR more thorough than simply running the antivirus app you have.

Ok so Ive been running around my system, did the entire bug check listed in the forums (no bug or errors found) and rolled back drivers.
(My system restore is automatically shut down already.)

At first nothing happened.I thought it didn't work. But then by the fifth restart of my computer everything was fine...D:.

Use the security scan and virus scan, JUST to be sure. You can never be too careful.
