Suggestions for a graphics card

Hi

I got a custom pentium 4 - 2.3ghz with 760 Ram. WinXP

What's a good graphics card that will support decent gaming while not being outrageously expensive. I'm not trying to run advanced games like Crysis more along the lines of STALKER etc. Maybe even Bioshock hopefully. I probably should add some more RAm as well

I thought of nVidia 7600 GT,

Any suggestions / advice?

Anytime, they are good articles and provide an excellent starting point for all budgets.

 

New update: I'm assuming that it will be AGP but i will need to be sure prior to purchase.

Is there a freeware program that will give me the hardware specs or do I have to open up the case and check physically whether its PCI or AGP?

 

Good program to get your specs from is:

EVEREST

Goto Computer>>>Summary>>>>Motherboard Name, that will give you exactly what you need.
