suggestions on new motherboard

well my current pc which is agp, my 7800gs vid card died and im back to using a regular 6800.

been wanting to upgrade to pci-e and have done some research and i know most of the other componets i want such as a quad core intel @ 2.4ghz,2 gigs of ddr-2 ram,8800 series vid card, but im not sure which motherboard would fit me best since theres so many to choose from.

i have an asus p4p800-e deluxe now and id like another asus board most likley a p35 series board.

i will mostly be using it for gaming and browsing the internet.

also have heard others had problems using certain hard drives on asus p35 boards so i dont know if its wide spread or it affected just a few.
