I have downloaded SunJava on my computer, but having trouble when I go to online yahoo games.
What happens is I am fine, once it finally loads the page. I can get to a game, but if I try to look at any other website while playing, I lose the game.
Although, if I click on page on the toolbar, I cannot get it to close without restarting computer.
Hope this makes sense and any help would be appreciated. Do I need to adjust some setting or something? Also, it loads very very slowly.

Does anyone have an idea why this is happening?
Sure is frustrating. Again last night, when I was done playing a game, had to reboot to get the window to close.

    MORE INFO PLEASE.
If you are using a router, this seems to happen. Also, If you have a good modem (Cable) they now come with built in firewalls. The refresh rate and ping are being blocked and eventually, the yahoo server sees you IDLE and drops you due to high volumes. I stopped playing on yahoo. lost many games ecause of that, when I was winning.
    try pogo, or excite games.

or, you can get a whois of that site, find the ports, and set them accept requests from that server. this is hard, though, since it requires a little deeper knowledge that made mill ill after 3 weeks of learning.

On the windows problem, try defragging, and running windoctor (from disk). you may have some corrupt files. tool bars, special search pages and free software are riddled with trojan programs that may hang your system, IE kazza or mp3 downloaders.

    Cheer up,

tommorrow today will seems like a dream.

I had some weird problems when I installed Java, too- wound up uninstalling it, all problems ceased. This computer came with basic XP OS, downloaded SP1 (not 1.a), and SP2; apparently, there are processes dependent on MS JVM; anyone got any ideas? (Problems: control panel wouldn't load, locked up PC; icons would disappear [including "Spybot" and "SpywareGuard"];if online- dialup- and went to desktop, PC locked up, and modem dropped line)
