Sun's Java on start-up

    Looking through what programs I have starting up, is Sun's Java necessary to be in the start-up group in order for Java to work?

    doh nevermind, realized it's a jusched extension, so it's an automatic update scheduler i guess...

    so the question this leads to is, how do you update Java manually?
