Super Utilities ?

I havnt so would like to hear your review of the program?


When I looked at the things that this program does and it may do them very well, BUT there are many free programs around that can do the same jobs eg.
( I am assuming you are using XP but you will still find most of the apps listed below work with all MS OS's )

Disk Cleaner:
CCleaner

Registry Cleaner:
Lexun RegScrubXP

Uninstaller Plus:
UninstallAbility 1.0 or some other free app... cannot think of another off hand!

StartUp Manager:
CCleaner
Startup Inspector
or most Registry Cleaners

Memory Tubro:
XP to be honest does this very well on its own
FreeRAM XP Pro

Folder Guard:
IF using XP or another NTFS baised PC then you can use File/Folder encryption that built into the OS to achieve the same thing.

TracksWasher:
Again... CCleaner

Windows Manager:
Couldnt see anything useful in this... plus cannot again think of a comparitive application.

Process Manager:
Process Explorer

IE Protector:
Either keep upto date with all OS updates and read through the great guide in the Spyware side of the forum How to Protect yourself from malware!

I think you get the drift... their are many applications out their that are free and are known to do a great job... but it means installing a few apps against installing just one Super Utilities but at a cost $$$ depends on what you want.

Personally I go with the new and proven free apps, they work just as well if not better than retail software
