Superstition.

I am not superstitious in the least, Friday the thirteenth, black cats, ladders, broken mirrors, whatever.
BUT, when it comes to sports, maybe just a little bit. Like switching chairs at home watching the game on TV because that may help my team launch a comeback. Or picking the right time to run to the washroom.
Like right now. The local hockey team Kootenay Ice begin the playoffs this weekend after ending the season winning only three of their last ten games. So in an effort to change their fortunes I`m gonna drop their logo as my avatar and revert to Free-Wheelin`Franklin Freak hanging out of the VW bus.

Anyone else have superstitions, sports or otherwise?

Not at all. Haha.

 

I do theatre for a living...there are more superstitions than you can shake a stick at. Don't whistle backstage. Never put the shoes on the counter in a dressing room. DO NOT say the name of Shakespeare's Scottish tragedy in the theatre. Always make nice with the theatre ghost (and trust me, there is one). Always leave a ghost light on when you leave for the night.

Then there are the ones I've picked up from other walks of life...never light three cigarettes on a match. Don't walk under ladders. If you spill some salt, toss some over your left shoulder.

I'm sure there are more. I'm kinda overly in tune with the supernatural.

 

But...I`m not.
