Surfing the web anonymously

I got an email today from ZoneLabs about a program called Anonymizer Anonymous Surfing. Sounds interesting. Are there programs like this on Major Geeks?

The only thing there I saw that you couldn't get with a proper browser and/or router configuration was warnings before visiting malicious websites... you can conceal your IP with a proxy....you can secure your own wireless... go to the malware forum, they'll be able to help you out!

 

Mada Milty is right. Strengthen your security and you don't really NEED an anonymous surfing program. Here is a browser add-on I use that will show you the REAL web address you are at to thwart spoofing and phishing attempts by the 'Bad Guys'
