Surround Sound Question

I really didnt know where to start this thread but im guessing it has to do with software so here it goes.

Anyone know any programs that can give me the option to raise the volume of my rear speakers but not of all the whole 4 speakers?

My problem is that I had to place the rear speakers too far away from me so I cant really hear them too well (they are like 4 meters away from me... while the front ones are directly infront of my right beside my monitor)

I was trying to look for any similar option within winamp and windows but couldnt find anything... just right and left options but not front and rear...

Any help would be really useful... thx!!

 

I have ASUS A7N8X deluxe mobo, Program on mobo cd, Nvida Nforce control pannel, can control up to six speakers volume levels, I just click on speaker set up tab, and adjustments are there.
I also have Gigabyte mobo rig similar adj. there.
Both mobos have onboard 6 channel sound, can set up most any speaker configuration.

What kind of rig and what are you running for sound card or onboard stuff,
Maybe you have adjustments and just dont where to find????

 

I got a Asus A7V333 mobo and Creative Sound Blaster Audigy Gamer... I installed all of the software the SB card brough but couldnt find it there either... Maybe ill look there again just in case but dont think its there...

 

I have the SB Audigy Platinum ZS 2 and it lets me do this it is in the THX setup console

 

I found out I had forgoten to install some of the software included on the package and tehre I could find the Bal/Fade options so now my surround actually feels like one... thx a lot for the help
