When I run Process Explorer v 9.11 from
http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4566 it lists 5 occurrences of svchost.exe. They don't appear to be running, but why 5? And what can I do about them, if anything? Bazza

The 5 running processes of svchost.exe is normall to see on Process Explorer

Mine is a standalone laptop, not on any network. Any benefit is disabling these, somehow, on a standalone PC? Or just put up with it, and ignore it? Bazza
