svchost MAYHEM!

So, the problem I am having is one of the seven svchost processes seems to be causing conflicts with device manager, installing new drivers etc, even with windows update(Which stopped working as well).

Cause when I go to install ANY usb device, the "found new hardware" bubble does not pop up, unless SVchost is closed(the only one I close is the one running @50%). When I do close it I am able to install and use any device(though I may have to close svchost multiple times).

Note:This process of SVchost seems to be connected to the taskbar for some reason, cause when it's closed the taskbar temporarily reverts to "classic" skin.
