svhost.exe

svhost.exe is using 50% of my dual core cpu. when i disable my network conection it goes away. enable it it stays away. whats doing it? i have to do that every time i start my computer. you can't play games with that running.

 

It's not svhost.exe. It's the processes associated with svhost.exe. Get this to view everything in memory:

That is your automatic updates when it's looking for new updates for your computer. The CPU usage should decrease back down to normal soon.

 

i found it . it was my HP software. it's a .DLL file that keeps running
