I have a dell 2330 and a 2320 all in one. When I use for work and the other at home. If I swapped the drives between the 2 would that work or will stuff have to be reloaded? Thanks Michael

It's unlikely you will be able to swap the drives since the hardware drivers are different on each PC.

    Hope this helps. :)

On my old Compaq as soon as i changed hard drives Reinstalling the default OS would not work. I guess there is a way the Backup CDs( with OS on them ) can tell if the original hard drive is present. You can try to clone your original to another drive then install the replacement drive in your PC there is a video on you tube showing how to do exactly this procedure. I will look around for it but can not garantee i will find.
EasUS works for me but you have to do an exact copy (clone ) of the hard drive to a unformated drive and choose to save all settings of original to new drive in EaseUS diskcopy (CD that you will burn and boot to).
