I have two laptops. One is a Dell Inspiron 5150 and the other is a Dell Inspiron 1100. My Dell 5150 recently died (the power jack came loose and the repair attempt was a mass failure) so i've been stripping it of parts. My question is can I take the Pentium 4 processor out of my 5150 and put it into the 1100? The 1100 currently has a Intel Celeron processor and I wanted to swap that out for the P4. How about video cards? My 5150 has a GeForce 5600 GO (i think) and I would be replacing the Integrated Media Accelerator on the 1100. I've already gone ahead and put my ram in the 1100 with no problems.

Anyone know? If you need some more information, I'll dig it up and post it here.
