Sygate Firewall

    Hi, I have Sygate Personal Firewall and I have a question. Is there a way to optimize the internet connection through the firewall? I feel as if it's holding my connection back, it's been slower ever since i installed Sygate. Thanks.

    Typically any firewall will slow a network connection down a bit. How slow are we talking? Like 50% less speed?

    it's not as drastic as 50% but it's an obvious decrease in speed. i use to have NIS and its firewall didn't have this much of an effect.
