Sylvia Penetrated ...?!?!

    NEED HELP!
    Linux Mint Sylvia was penetrated ?!?
    DVD drive used for temp user...
    Locked out of root.
    Log-in screen goes to guest instead of usual.
    Switch User, bios, ... all the basic tricks used to no avail.
    (Turkey had banned my blog two days prior.)
    Looks like more than I can handle.
    Does this sound familiar to anyone?
