Less than 2 weeks ago your expert team helped me get rid of an infection, but now the symptoms have returned. You can check what was the issue the last time in this link: http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?p=1667666#post1667666

I have also noticed that google chrome open the facebook page without me doing anything. Thank you for your help!

I could not run combofix or rootrepeal. Combofix began running but did not do nothing. Seems like Rootrepeal have some incompatibility with windows 7. More details on my old thread. So I am attaching the rest of the logs.

Please also download MBRCheck to your desktop.

See the download links under this icon http://forums.majorgeeks.com/chaslang/images/MGDownloadLoc.gif
    • Double click MBRCheck.exe to run (vista and Win 7 right click and select Run as Administrator)
    • It will show a Black screen with some information that will contain either the below line if no problem is found:
      • Done! Press ENTER to exit...
    • Or you will see more information like below if a problem is found:
      • Found non-standard or infected MBR.
      • Enter 'Y' and hit ENTER for more options, or 'N' to exit:
    • Either way, just choose to exit the program at this point since we want to see only the scan results to begin with.
    • MBRCheck will create a log named similar to MBRCheck_07.16.10_00.32.33.txt which is random based on date and time.
    • Attach this log to your next message. (See: HOW TO: Attach Items To Your Post )

You're welcome. I'm not seeing any signs of malware. What are the exact problems you are having now?

Let's run one more scan to collect some additional info.

    Download OTL to your desktop.
    • Double click on the icon to run it. Make sure all other windows are closed and to let it run uninterrupted.
    • Vista and Windows 7 users Right-click OTL and choose Run as Administrator)
    • When the window appears, underneath Output at the top change it to Minimal Output.
    • Check the boxes beside LOP Check and Purity Check.
    • Click the Run Scan button. Do not change any settings unless otherwise told to do so. The scan wont take long.

When the scan completes, it will open two notepad windows. OTL.Txt and Extras.Txt. These are saved in the same location as OTL.

Attach both of these logs into your next reply.

Hello, I am pretty sure there is something hiding on my pc running in he background. Sometimes my pc is so slow it's really annoying. Please can you check if I have some kind of spyware. I live with someone who is good at computer and is likely to do it. I am 80% sure there is something. That person seems to know all I am doing online. Thanks

Not according to any of your logs. Every log has been clean. It is unlikely that you are having malware problems. Slow PCs are not always due to malware. However I will give you one more scan to run just to dig in a little deeper by using a rootkit tool.

Run the below and attach the log from GMER:

GMER - running with a random name

Hi, here's is the GMER log. Sorry for the late reply. As I am not good with computers I don't know how things work. But please check for professional kind of softwares, like spying software that you can buy online to spy and hand made types of software... I don't know if you can recognize them. Thanks

Your GMER log is also clean.
We already did with all the scans we ran. You are not having malware problems on your computer. I suggest that you post in the Software Forum and you should tell them the answers to the below:

Please explain what operations are slow! For example answer the below:
    • Is boot up slow?
    • Is shutdown slow?
    • Is browsing/surfing slow? If yes, also answer the below sub-questions
      • What type of connection to the internet do you use ( DSL, Cable, FIOS,etc)?
      • What browser are you using? Have tried more than one?
    • Is downloading slow?
    • Is running any/every application?
    • Is it also slow in safe boot mode?
    • Also are any processes showing in Task Manager to be using a lot of CPU time?
    • Anything else slow?

Since you are not having malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware. Unless you purchase them, they provide no protection. They do not use any significant amount of resources ( except a little disk space ) until you run a scan.
    2. If we had you use ComboFix, uninstall ComboFix (This uninstall will only work as written if you installed ComboFix on your Desktop like we requested.)
      • Click START then RUN and enter the below into the run box and then click OK. Note the quotes are required
      • "%userprofile%\Desktop\combofix" /uninstall
        • Notes: The space between the combofix" and the /uninstall, it must be there.
        • This will uninstall ComboFix and also reset hidden files and folders settings back to Windows defaults.
    3. Go back to step 6 oof the READ ME and renable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it.
    4. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    5. If we had you download any registry patches like fixme.reg or fixWLK.reg (or any others), you can delete these files now.
    6. If running Vista or Win 7, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    7. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis.
    8. Goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders
related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    9. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:

Thanks for helping me! But I have a problem. Combofix wont uninstall. I copied and pasted the command line on "run", it begins to load but after that nothing appeared and ComboFix is still on my desktop. What should I do???? Thanks.

Just finish the rest of the instructions. When you run MGclean.bat it should also remove ComboFix.
