    Hi everyone
I have a new samsung s3 mini phone. I don't use it for emails - just phone calls and texts. I am trying to save money so am on a cheap tariff. What I would like to do is sync the calendar with Microsoft Outlook. I know android phones are compatible with gmail but I don't have a gmail account (I use fastmail). Is there a way of syncing the calendars?

    Many thanks

    Matthew

    Hi Matthew

I remembered a post by Diane Poremsky an Outlook MVP (Guru on all things Outlook) on this subject and she linked to this advice HERE it may help you.

Would also need to know your version of Outlook if the desktop version or are you using the new Outlook.com email service and calendar?

Thanks for this David. I don't have my phone configured for email but it seems that one way or another I will either have to purchase some 3rd party sync programme or use my home wifi to sync emails and calendar through my laptop. I guess I just need to move with the times ;)

    Thanks again for your input

    Matthew
