I got myself a mess, got infected by a Baagle(sp) virus set up a 'sysformat.exe' file. Can't do much, download my mail, open certain web sites, open certain files (file in excel for example: these I need to open my main Excel program first and then brouse to open the file). I have windows ME, and have Norton which said it caught and quarantined the virus, but I guess not. I tried Norton's repair, but didn't seem to want to run. My system won't close properly, either.

    Help!!!!!!

I have lost faith in Norton now. It said it caught it, but I ended up with 500 files infected. I'll be looking for another AV now....

Try Avast, it is free and can be downloaded from this site in the download section!
