    Hello again,

Does anyone know of a way to backup the entire content of a hard drive onto a DVDROM (or two) and be able to reinstall the content back to the computer?

    Regards to all.

I'm sure you can use Norton Ghost to do this.......

Check out latest version of Drive Image. I only use Drive Image 2002 to back up to another hard drive partition, latest version probably incorporates DVD burning. Bazza

Does Micro$oft have a utility in it's vast arsenal of downloads?

Type backup into the search box in MG http://www.majorgeeks.com/search.php
and press <submit> for lots of stuff. My connection is down to 9600 at the moment otherwise I could maybe assist further. I won't recommend the free program I use because it doesn't backup 10-17 files that are in use by Windows at the time of backup. They may, or may not, be critical if you had a catastrophe and had to use your DVD's for backup. As mentioned I use DriveImage as a further safeguard. As for M$ program, others may comment, please.
