System Clock Running Too Fast, HELP!!

my computer clock has been running abnormally too fast for the past month now.. you can even see it ticking faster then normal.. the only thing that might be causing this, is maybe Java?? because it seems like everytime i open up the client to play runescape classic angel (private server), thats when my time starts going faster.. but im not completely sure.. i have to constantly keep going to my system clock to click "Update" to get my time back to normal, but still keeps running fast.. im stumped.. i have no idea why this could be happening! im running Windows XP also

 

ohh the cmos battery? damnn.. no idea where i could buy a new one at.. maybe if i reset it? take it out for like 5 mins and put it back in? i dont know.. but right now.. i just got done playing Counter-Strike.. and my time is running in sync with my home clock.. soooo thats what makes me think its Java thats doing it because i think it only happens when i play runescape classic

 

It appears other people are having the same issue, only with runescape classic.

No word on the fix yet.

someone from the RSCA website told me this in a private message.. "Try disabling UAC to fix the clock issue."... what does that mean?

 

I always keep UAC on for security reasons, but if you must try it:

does this only apply to vista users? i use windows XP.. and it looks all too much of a task, i dont see it helping my issue anyways
