Have you tried a different mouse?

Also, we need to find out why your computer keeps booting into Safe Mode.

There are key commands to navigate your way to the control panel, but it may not be easy. The mouse is not a likely device to fail, software wise anyway, it could be hardware related. Try another one.

    Good Luck.

I change the mouse w/ new one, did not help. A frend of my daughters said it sound like a problem w/ mouse driver. He suggested I remove the mouse driver and reboot. That would solve the problem. The mouse driver was causing the other drivers not to be recognized in the system. What do you all think?? Any with any suggestions
Appreciate an help ODIE :) :)

Try downloading and running Mouseware. It usually solves most mouse issues.

And remember the keyboard is the only required imput device. The mouse makes it easier but you can accomplish all your tasks by using the keyboard. tab goes between fields and buttons. ctrl+esc brings up start menu. I can assist further with that if you like

We had to flee the storm IVAN Will try this when I get back home. I can surf programs w/ wins key and up/down arrows. I have to use ALT/CTRL?DELETE Keys to close programs be cause (I cant open them) w/ my enter key. Suggestion was given to me to disable mouse w/ control panel /systems/hardware/ mouse drive & reboot to solve the problem. Thanks for the info. ODIE :) :)
