Sys is Dell560 w/Win 7 OS. 3 gb RAM and 640 GB hd dr. this is a new system that I purch about 2 months ago. Frequently when comp is setting idle for extended time it freezes up. browsers won't open. Task manager won't open. Cannot shut down comp with button. Must manually shut down with power switch. On reboot everything works fine for a few days. Many times I get the message....System error (shown in thread title). Not enuff storage available to execute this command. Any suggestions or a need for further information? Thanks for any help

I do not generally recommend updating the BIOS unless there is a problem. I see Dell has a recommended BIOS update from Feb. 16, 2011.

Before you attempt this, email Dell support to find out why this BIOS update is recommended.

NOTE: If you fail at an attempt to update the BIOS, you end up with a doorstop instead of a computer. This is not something for an inexperienced user to try.
