System Folder Names

Is there any way to change the folder names on system folders?

examble - C:\Documents and Settings\MATT to
C:\Documents and Settings\Tom

I'm running Windows XP Pro sp2

You could change your windows user name but you can't change system folder names without doing something or other I don't know hehe.
But yeh if you change your windows user name then it should change that folder name for you.

 

I changed the user name and the registered owner name (in regedit) but it will not allow me to change the folder where all the documents are stored when logged in. The username and that folder under my docs are tagged together. I would like to change it so the person using it doesn't feel like he is the last person using the machine. These are buisness computers.

To change the location of my doc folder use tweakui powertoy from microsoft.

Look in my computer>special folder>my documents

No TweakUI didn't do it or I don't how to use that correctly.

Run the tweakui powertoy>
Open special folder option in tweakui>
Change location of my document folder>
Browse for your choice and select.
