system mechanic removal

hello all, hope you are well
situation: Installed TuneUp utilities 2004,ok
uninstalled System mechanic through its own uninstall program,
then went to add/ remove programs to make sure all gone, (it was)
then went to start,find, on C & D drives
type in system mechanic,deleted all there
rebooted
but saw & CONTINUE to see on bootup screen
""system mechanic is compacting registry, please wait"",
went to start run regedit,REGISTRY EDITOR looked all through everything for system mechanic=iolo
couldn't find anything,
how can i get rid of this plz from boot up screen,

Click the Start Up tab on the first screen and see if System Mechanic is listed. If so, check it and have it deleted.

Then return to the first screen Software tab and look for any mention of System Mechanic and check / delete all found.

Then click Tools > Registry Cleanup > Do Them All >and when the scan finishes, select all items found and delete them.

See if that works. Let us know.
