System Not Fully Loaded.

I have HP Pavillion 750n with xp home edition. I was running system recovery and it froze while completing the task. I left it alone for over 2 hours and finally shut down manually.

Now when I turn it on, it tells me "System not fully loaded, please run setup again."

How can I fix this? I didn't get a cd bundle when I bought my pc. It won't let me do anything, but continues to reboot and gives me the above message.

PLEASE HELP... I need to access my files... I will still have my files right? :confused
