system reboots

hi i am running xp pro and frequently when i click start, programs the machine will refresh and then i can access the program menu, occasionally the refresh will happen when i try to access a shared folder. after the refresh (it's like the desktop refreshes) all is well. Any thoughts. thankyou in advance. system registry is clean and i use adaware, spybot and spyware blaster

 

Did you mean refreshing or rebooting?

IF you mean rebooting then its not normal

But from what I gather your problem has to do with refreshing.

I have four computers all runnning xp, They all refresh from time to time. Just like you have described. I think its normail. All my computers running xp do it and therefore I have come to the conclusion that is one of the normal things with xp.

My logic is, How can all computers running xp show the same symptoms?
Logical answer to me is Becuase it is supposed to happen
