As I mentioned in a thread before, I am going to install Vista. However, should I not like it, is there a way to use the HP System Recovery I have (as an option while using XP) if I cleanly install Vista? What I mean is, can I revert back to XP since that's the computers' "original factory manufactured" condition?

So long as you have a recovery CD, or a recovery partition, then yes.

So as long as I DON'T delete the RECOVERY PARTITION, I'm good?

Correct. Make that a big fat DO NOT DELETE OR MODIFY THE RECOVERY PARTITION.

Make sure you have a recovery option thats listed when your BIOS screen comes up.

I am sure you do, but lets be safe.

To be honest, the safest thing is to make a recovery CD/DVD.

You should have a creator in your start menu.

What brand of machine you running?
